Hello and welcome to the COVID-19 REOPENING UPDATE!
If you are looking to book a treatment I am very pleased to announce that the lockdown rules have now been relaxed enough and I have been given the green light to return to work, offering massage (all types excluding Pregnancy) reflexology and reiki healing.
Therefore, I am now ready to make appointments. There will be some changes in the process both before and during each session, to help ensure both yours and my safety.
Before you leave your home, please check your temperature, and consider if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms. If yes to any of those questions, please postpone or cancel your appointment.
There will also be a consent form to complete regarding exposure to Covid-19, this will be completed and signed prior to treatment at the studio – you will be given the link to download/ print when you make your online booking. You will need this on the day of your treatment session.
If you are considered a high-risk client, I am sorry but it may not be possible to massage you at this time. If you are unsure please contact your GP surgery for advice.
Additional consultation documents will be provided the day or emailed beforehand. Please bring your own pen.
Please arrive on time for your appointment, do not enter the building. I will meet you at the door to bring you through to the studio.
Please use the loo before you enter the building, also bring your own water.
Please wear easy to remove clothes. You will be given a container in which to put them when you undress. Please avoid wearing jewellery as this makes the process simpler.
When you arrive, before entering the studio (treatment room) you will be required to take off your shoes, cleanse your hands, pop on a pair of clean socks. There will be a contactless temperature check, which if clear, you may enter the studio (without touching anything).
Due to the nature of the sessions (you will be face down) I am not required to use a mask. I will be using disposable gloves and apron. Being massaged in gloves is not unpleasant – you will barely feel it.
When the massage is over, you will leave your towels on the table, return to the changing area to redress and exit again without touching anything. If there are soft furnishings in the practice room, they will be covered by couch roll.
Please be aware that the massage table will have been thoroughly disinfected. The linens are all clean, and you will be encouraged to wear a mask, although you do not have to.
You may wish to use the bathroom and wash your hands after your treatment. This is at your own risk.
During the gap between sessions, I disinfect of the practice space, therapy table and equipment, the changing room and waiting area.
Together we will keep health and well-being positive 😊
